If you are on PC, bookmark this before you bookmark anything else.

The Steam page is also where the Chapter 1 demo sits for Windows. Play it, confirm save transfer language on that same page, then return to the demo guide.

Nintendo eShop

FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE for Nintendo Switch 2 — US eShop product page. Confirms the October 22, 2026 date, single-player, estimated file sizes (Switch about 8.8 GB, Switch 2 about 12.7 GB on that listing), Magitek Airship pre-order contents, and the Kickstart wording some Nintendo pages print as November 5, 2026, 11:59 p.m. PST. A Digital Deluxe Upgrade is listed separately at $14.99.

Switch 1 digital is a different SKU. Press coverage has noted there is no advertised upgrade path between Switch and Switch 2. Buy the hardware you will play on. Family-group lending and Save Data Cloud (Nintendo Switch Online) are listed on the Nintendo product card; they are not Steam Cloud.

PlayStation blog (demo post)

Final Fantasy Resonance PS5 demo available today, Sephiroth revealed — the September 3, 2026 PlayStation.Blog post from Square Enix marketing. It is the clean official write-up of the Chapter 1 demo, save transfer into the full game, the timeline-and-stagger combat summary, Visions and Sanctums of Light, and the State of Play trailer context. Read it once, then use our demo and trailers pages for the wiki version with internal links.

The same post is also the official “Sephiroth revealed” note. That is a trailer/demo beat, not a Vision tier rank. Do not treat a blog headline as an S-row.

Final Fantasy Resonance on PlayStation is the PS5 storefront card: 1 player, offline play, Magitek Airship pack, Kickstart pack, Mitra postbox claim text, Standard versus Deluxe tiles, and a link to the PS5 demo. Use it to check out; use the blog post to understand what you downloaded.

Physical Standard plus Deluxe upgrade code, acrylic block set, pixel art book, 120-track soundtrack CD, TCG promo. UK/EU buyers should use the regional Square Enix Store (the UK Collector price is the ~£189.99 figure this wiki quotes on editions).

Japan: SQUARE ENIX e-STORE feature page — JP Collector listings (¥25,500) and platform variants, including some Steam goods bundles. Shipping regions differ. Read the SKU title so you do not order a Japanese disc you cannot run, or a goods box without a game when you wanted both.

Trailers that land there get a row on trailers. Do not chase fan re-encodes when the official upload exists. The Vision: Noctis clip used on the Vision tiers page is an official FINAL FANTASY channel upload, not a leak.

How to use this list without getting lost

1. Watch the official site trailer.
2. Install the demo from Steam, Nintendo, PlayStation, or Xbox — then follow getting started.
3. If the machine is a PC, confirm system requirements on Steam, not on a random spec aggregator.
4. If you want Magitek cosmetics or a Collector box, open editions and then the Square Enix or platform store, not a reseller screenshot.
5. If a date moves, trust the storefront and the updates hub, including demo launch and release date.
